How did the project start?
Due to the existing website failing to deliver, the business needed a new website to promote it's products and include a unique interactive 'clothing builder'.
What options did you consider?
A number of new logos and company colours were offered.
We considered more advanced options for the clothing builder but settled on a framework which kept the project within budget.
What help and expertise did you receive?
Visual Soft offered a number of options and ideas to get a new website up and running to appeal not only to the target market of rowing but also too dragonboating and cycling customers. Many options were discussed particularly over the clothing builder.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
The 'clothing builder' was the biggest challenge as it had to included options for a number of clothing items of different sizes and colours with further options for the customer to select print designs from different sports for the front and back of the garments.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The 'clothing builder' has been successful and we get positive feed back from customers. It has also been developed further since the launch of the site.
The wesite is perfoming better in search engines and gives the business a professional image of a much larger business.
What are your plans for the future?
The 'clothing builder' will be developed further ultimately to allow the customer to drag designs and place onto garments and include options for the customer's own text and print colours.
We may also consider building two 'sister' sites to seperate the sports giving sport each a website of it's own with a similar format.
