How did the project start?
Presence won the contract to re-develop and re-design the Equality North East website in March 2007.
What options did you consider?
In assessing the current website, we decided to re-build the database and HTML structure from scratch to create a lean and efficient website and content management system.
What help and expertise did you receive?
All the creative and technical work was handled in-house by Presence.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
The biggest challenge was re-organising the information - consisting of tens of thousands of pages - on the new website into a more logical format.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The outcome is an accessible and easily updated website that Equality North East can use to match the expansion within their organisation.
What are your plans for the future?
Presence continues to support Equality North East through their website and providing digital services such as e-marketing.
